Thread: Arete pack reviews?

Thinking of getting an Arete frame and bag.

My day bag is getting a bit rank despite washing it and so was thinking about going to a hauler frame type pack to keep the blood etc out of the bag itself.

Not a big deal on a day hunt but not great when away for 3 or 4 days

Has anyone tried hauling out an entire deer carcass with one?

I occasionally get all pseudo masochist on it and bring the whole thing home.

I’ve carried out fallow whole minus guts etc. using a MR frame pack.

Makes for a wide carry, ok if farm country but not thick, steep bush.
