    dad has had his asolos for 7 or 8 years and only just given up, my raichle (which are now zamberlan I believe) boots you show above lasted about 4 years, both with a good amount of use and general care

    doesn't mean to say either are crap boots, although the asolos haven't changed their design in a long long time and are well known and popular
