i really would not get an eberlestock for daytrips... they are good quality packs and all, but weigh quite a bit !
dragonfly = 8.5 lb = 3.8 kg
just one = 6 lb 14 oz = 3.1 kg
what's the total carry weight (rifle, sling, scope, bipod, etc) ?
have you tried different slings, or alternatively a hydration pack to "pad" your back ?
do you genuinely need the bipod ? ask yourself what % of the time you shoot from it (hunting, not at the range) ?
rifle weighs in at a healthly 5.66kg with out bolt and ammo
