I make my own and it's pretty good ... but its nothing to do with any great skill on my part.
We have a dehydrator. Its got some "insets" to cope with wet ingredients.
All I did was dehydrate some leftover venison casserole overnight and it turned out awesome.
The off the shelf mash and dehy veg make up an awseome meal
I also dehydrate bananas and other fruit.
