Thread: Backup jacket

Looking for a lightweight pack able rain jacket as backup
Toss up between stowit pro and halo any advice would be greatly appreciated

The new Swazi tahr ultralite must be days away from release

Halo over stowit, have had both

I have had the Stowit, Halo & Stowit pro. I like the Stowit Pro best. I didn’t like the halo as it is quite a narrow fit and I am not a big guy.

Swazi Rifleman. Can't fault it. Lightweight. Compact. Quality NZ Made. Use it bush hunting, will soak through after a couple of hours in wet bush as will any lightweight jacket. Goes in the pack for bush and tops work. Ideal.

Halo is my go to.

I used to have a stowit.i now use surplus swiss army rain jacket from army and outdoors. Only $20 each and are actually pretty good jackets. I have several of them stashed in packs, vehicles etc
