For the price of the Ganzo you can get a Victory 4" drop point hunter; (no sheath though. It's a great wee knife

Just caught up wiht this thread a couple of days ago, I use my old bahco all the time and it'd be a shame to have no access to them in future. In Farmlands Hastings today and picked up 10 of them, they've still got 30 left. Also a lot of the ne Chinese ones, these are plastic wrapped so I could not look at quality but bringing 10 Swedish knives home I should not need to worry about the Chincese quality for many years to come.

Couldn't help myself and just bought another 6 from GH in ChCh. For those interested they have about a pallet of the Swedish knives so ain't gonna run out anytime soon.

Only thing I'd like to see with these knives is an orange cork/foam handle so the knife floats - they make an excellent dive knife, but they sink.
Come to think of it, might be fun to strip the handle off and try that

Silly question. How do you quickly tell the difference between the Swedish and chinese ones? Are they marked as such?

Got a couple of those with plastic sheaths.....same colour as the knife handle. Bought them 'cos they are a super light option, but have found they don't hold an edge long.

@csmiffy yes they are marked with place of manufacture. It would be amusing if after all this hassle we were to find out the chinese ones are better!

@Maxx That's strange; I've had a great run out of them. Cheers
