New model made in China @No.3
I use my first gen Scarey Sharp and a selection of stones to sharpen mine
I bought two from farmlands today. they have orange handles but farmlands website have them advertised with green handles and scabbard.
I'd love to get my hands on the bacho 2449 wrecking knife, looks like a good bush knife. Unfortunately no one in NZ sells them.
Pretty sure we have the wrecking knife here in mitre10, can check later this afternoon
Happy Jack I know you'll check at your work later but here it is. I came across it the other day when looking for the 2444

You're all bad people, look what you made me do!
Does anyone if any of the farmlands are selling the green bahco's? They have them listed on their website but Huntly didn't have any, will ring hamilton store to check stock.
Picked up four - from George Henry and Co in CHCH, cheaper to buy there and ship them up than buying local. Go figure...
It seems like you are creating a self fulfilling prophesy by buying up all the knives before there is a shortage.
here's one that looks similar if you'd just like a change of colour

Popped into GH today to grab mine. Plenty in stock and the guy says they’ve got a year’s supply on the way 😆
GH ?
I was at the dump today and they were stacked 100's high. Right next to the Leupold 'scopes and just along from the 25-06's. :)
was that just along from the Tikkas and the Weatherby's?
Just gave my nephew one as a Chrissy present he is over the moon as heading off for his first ever hunt.
Found this in Farmlands Fairlie, you guys been taking about them.
A cost of $14 woow so cheap and dangerously sharp.Think il buy a couple more as I drive pass.

Must be slave labour to make them.
and there is no edge grind like the bacho...looks to be a rip off forsure...try one and let us know how you get on LOL.
Il just use it for back steak extractions.
Real or fake, not my thing. I'd use them as a dive knife though. At $7, you can afford to lose one.
Mitre10 Nelson still has a few of these knives.
