    Bakewell Burner

    Saw this and thought bloody good idea. The push button legs, flue and 5L water boiler store inside the body. Few pine cones and some kindling had bacon sizzling and water boiling in minutes - surprise how quick 5L cold water got to the boil. Great design and construction should last many years.

    Looks good, if someone who could weld added a bent flue it could be used in a walled tent...

    Apparently they can. Can get a 900mm ext too.

    So what are the holes in the cooking surface about ?
    There seem to be spots of sunlight inside from them also ...

    Let the heat thru I guess...couldn't get flames through them tho.

    How heavy is that. Recon it looks the go for tent or hut bivv use

    Yeah a chopper trip be ideal. Haven't weighed it though.
