Four bolts to clamp on instead of two. The secret is to have soft aluminium jaws that closely match the profile of the barrel you want to clamp and as close as possible from the breech . Those aluminium jaws have to be machined on a lathe. What barrel do you intend to remove?

What do 4 bolts give you mechanically it just seems that you are more likely to unevenly load the tight fitting bushings and load then unevenly compared to a 2 bolt option. Alot of shanks i have seen would be lucky to have 30mm of area to engage with.

And multiple types but likely for myself mostly small diameter actions such as Kimbers, howa minis etc. But will have it suit most options up to 1.3" shanks.
