    Base thermals - to cheap?

Hey gents, anyone here wear stuff by base thermals? They seem to have some stuff that seems maybe too cheap to be good?

100% wool jersey with wind block lining,
    Oil skin vests
    Puffer jacket

Mainly looking at grabbing a wool jumper and oilskin - failing that - anyone have good affordable options ?

Thermals,as in thin layer next to skin, postie plus has good stuff at great low prices,it lasts just as long as top branded stuff and if rip it on bush lawyer or rocks I don't cry over the cost.

Me and my sons have used base thermals in the past. Nothing wrong with them, a bit heavier and longer drying time than some brands but they keep you warm.
I've been getting Facebook ads about the windproof wool jersey on sale for $90. Seriously contemplating buying one.

I've been using the Postie merino stuff too. Does the job, and is cheap.

I have experience with Base puffer jacket. Jacket is big, bulky, puffy and warm, and uses cheaper quality down. Nothing wrong with it - you get what you pay for. Great for around town and keeping warm watching kids play sports on cold mornings.

For more serious outings and tramping and hunting I use my Macpac puffer jacket - much better quality and better warmth to weight ratio.

Cheers for the feed back, gona grab a few things for the price - sounds good for home and town and around the farm but won’t be taking any of it bush - but it’s at a price I won’t be hurt if I ruin it getting dirty.

If any interest I can let yous know how the wooden jumper is
