I think mine is the 220c with the 1/4 chain.
Same thing, use it for my fencing contracting for stays and railing and unbelievable peice of equipment.
I have 2 battery's now and even better.
Pity I can't buy 25' rolls of that aftermarket chain as the stihl is $46 per loop!

Yeah, there's an advantage to going to forestry standard sized chain. That's for sure! It's almost the same price for a 20" loop of 3/8 Oregon as that.

Only thing is I love that 1/4 inch chain as it's awesome for railing/detailed work as stay holes ect.
Somebody making a packet out of it!

    Just found this for $149.
    Just ordered a roll.
    Works out to 8 chains.
    $18 per loop.
    Way better!

Yep, "German and Korean materials". No Chinesium in sight

Have to agree, that weee 1/4 inch chain is like a laser on fresh pine. The wee Stihl is just the saw to have living on the side x side. Got stuck last weekend at the bottom of a hole I was digging. All that lovely pumice and I had to hit a band of greasy ash

Pines chopped up and laid down behind, and out she crawled. Phew!

Size: 3.53 MB. Also have late model Stihl (Petrol) which has sat still on the bench ever since! with the big battery its no lightweight and you do need muffs as its runs at about 100Db .But the enjoyable thing is that it is silent once its finished the cut & only needs the trigger to go again.
