    Battery Repacking Advice Wanted

    Hi all

I've got some power tool batteries (Milwaukee 28V) that need repacking and online I see a few places up in AK that do repacking - before I part with $$ can I get any recommendations from people who have had their batteries redone this way and had good service?

I've had some Tardme aftermarket units fail and am a bit wary as a result..

This outfit has done repacking for me SIMPOWER - Batteries and battery packs
Last one was for an older batt drill. Just over 100 bucks IIRC and I also ended up with increased capacity which was a bonus.

I have also bought a replacement laptop battery and cell phone batteries off him.

First replacement cell phone batteries I bought off Trademe. They appeared to be, and were claimed to be genuine Samsung. They were rubbish and only lasted about a year. Methinks counterfeit.

Chris Simpson only uses high quality cells for repacking.

I've given up on re packing , from my experience you don't save anything and they don't last as long . Only time I'd get them re packed is if you can't buy them new anymore .

Yep and I don't like recelling, mainly because the cells aren't graded, you just get what you get.
