Thread: Best bit of kit you brought this year ?

Huntech Primal Merino hoodie. Never owned merino tops before and would never go back. Perfectly cool in the hot, perfectly warm in the cold, doesn’t get too stinky worn daily on 3-4 hunts, even in rain it’s good. I’m sure all merino are more or less the same but it’s been game changing for me!

That reminds me, I got a fishing hoodie from AliExpress. Don't go on a fishing trip without it. It's nice not to have to remember a separate buff and the hood keeps a cap in place. I wear it as a base layer whatever the weather. I've bought a few other things, but nothing really stands out. A Tikka which shoots as well as expected and a Kmart Campmaster stove which has been great on the boat.
