Hey guys,
This has probably been exhausted before, but I'm looking for a head torch so I'm seeking recommendations.
I should post in the buy/sell also if anyone has one for sale.
Cheers

I use a Zebralight everyday and its the best torch I have used.
NKON in The Netherlands is the best place I have found to buy. They specialise in headlamps etc and cater mostly to cavers.

I also have an Armytek Wizard headlamp and it too is awesome.

Depending on what you use it for i want buy another light you cant recharge, i brought a led lenser h10 this year and well there is better out there for different reason this light does the job for me. Beam could be tighter.
Not buying battery's is a bonus
Those Armytek headlamps do look good, I guess you'd have to order online as no one local would sell these would they?
the wife lost her led lenser, i bought her a konus at 1/2 the price and its far better light output
I was thinking along the lines of a Led Lenser, best thought get some views from you guys that are out there using them.
I wont buy another ledlenser
I just use an Eveready headlamp myself. 150 + lumin I found is plenty if you want to use it for walking by. I personally prefer batteries as it's no big deal to swap them out and always have a spare set in my pouch. Use a led lenser p7.2 for spotting possums when we go wandering and usually swap out the lenser batteries into headtorch when getting low and fresh batteries into p7.2 makes the most of the batteries. Cheap headtorch can pickup from warehouse for $30 , adjustable brightness. Shockproof, waterproof and batteries last a long time. Nice and small to fit in pouch too. Call me cheap but does everything I need...and we usually walk 7-8 km in darkness.

What do you want to use it for and whats your budget?

Just as good as my Zebra light at a fraction of the price.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
Actually this one but they are probably the same.

Just looking for a handsfree torch. You have one for sale?
I use a Petzl Tikka headlamp with the core battery, can use AAA batteries or the rechargeable core battery. Has a red light and multiple brightness functions which start on the lowest setting. Band also has a whistle built in which I think is a nice extra, pretty small too. Only downside is there's no lock or anything to prevent it turning on.
