best recommendations to keep feet dry-ish in Fiordland

Drew Billy Burn block this year, trying to figure out what gaiter/rain pant combos make most sense to try and keep em semi dry. Here's to hoping for bluebird days and no bother.

wear your gaiters UNDERNEATH trousers...G.Duley goes one further and has neopreme shorties under long gaiters under trousers.
what happens with trou over top is water wicks down them and outside boots....

Waterproof boots, neoprene gaiters then long waterproof gaiters over top. Also make sure to wear your pants on the outside of your gaiters so the water doesn't just wick down underneath into your socks. Then wear your outer waterproof pants when necessary. To be honest in Fiordland you can do your best but just expect wet feet. On all trips I carry waterproof socks so that if my feet get wet then I can have dry feet in my wet boots around camp.

It's not so much the wet feet as it is the BLACK airforce.
I second the dry feet around camp as well. .

That's a bit extreme, I was just going to suggest staying in the helicopter.
