Best thermal monocular for $2500 ?

Any thoughts? Mainly for deer at 300-500 metres, semi open country, or big slips. Cheers

Yep 55six. Got a sytong unit from Ken and can’t believe how many more deer I’m picking up, great piece of gear and great service.

As the others have said Ken is great to deal with and I was not disappointed with Sytong’s performance.

Solid response for the Sytong. No hik-micro fans? Or others?

I think the service sells Sytong, plus they are good. Ive got a Hik clip on thermal and there is nothing wrong with it.

I’ve got Hikmicro FQ35, it’s mint but I reckon you could go cheaper if it’s just to locate animals.

I have the Pulsar Axion XQ30- got it second hand for cheap.

Not bad, probably better out there for the money but if you can pick one up at a deal its good enough

hikmicro falcons are pretty wicked, FH25 will located deer over 1km away easily, only down side would be are quite a big unit compared to some with similar spec units, the sytongs or pard are pretty good and will get a range finding one for that price

Anyone had a go with those mini units that you plug into your phone? Essentially just a thermal camera attachment that you plug into the charging port on your phone but interested to see how they perform vs the small size and weight

Would like to know what works with fog. Couple I had were useless so went back to relying on dog only. Haven't had a unit for 4 odd years but odd one I've seen in operation didn't like fog either.
