OK so have a pair of vortex diamondback 12x50 binos.... don't like the harness they come with as it sits too high on my chest... have adjusted it about as much as I can.... have just had a look at eberlestock scout harness but the binos are just too long for the magnetic closure to work.... has anyone had a spika harness.... interested on feed back or other options suitable for this size bino

I run the hunter’s element ones and I wish I had bought the twin needle one. Ive not got any experience with the others sorry

Another vote for Twin Needle. My Bushnell Fusions fit sweet with just enough room for the phone as well. Well made kit.

I use a Leupold one that cam with my 10x40's can also just fit my rangefinder and phone into it. My gripe having tried several why are is the back of the harness made for giants, they all appear to be made that way.

I've used them a lot since and I really like them. The pocket below the bino section is handy for GPS and radio or whatever else you carry. Fit my Delta rangefinding binos too which many other brands don't fit. Not sure they'll fit the 12x50s though.
They'll be 10x42 I'm picking?... I've got to fit some 12x50s in them..
Would be worth having a geez at tho I'm thinking...

I get too hot with Bino harnesses so changed to a camera strap and a Swazi ‘bino beret’. The camera strap is long enough that it can go over my shoulder when not in use that much or around my neck if I’m glassing.

It's the first one I've tried and been thinking of getting something more comfortable in the harness department. Badlands looks like a great harness but might be hard to go past twin needle by the sounds.
Strap length is the problem with the vortex one.... have only had it out the once and felt almost claustrophobic with it up so high... going to try a mates bushbuck one this evening... the twin needle units sounds like a good option, but am hesitant to fork out good money after bad....Quote:

Twinneedle bino harness is super handy and I'd recommend in a heartbeat.
Durable, great size, handy pouch down the back for phone or dropchart (or both), fits my 10x42 Vipers easy as.
I run the 4x2 small stacker pouch on front for range finder, mercator.
It takes a punishing and holding up well.
As H.M says, magnets are great for walking around glassing, then when bush bashing zip up one or both zips and binos are not going anywhere

I run Twin needle v2. Don't fuck around with others like I did. Just get one of these. Build quality is second to none.
Had the vortex, now have the hunter element.
My biggest issue is the magnetic closure affecting the Compas. Even at full arm stretch I'm always 15 to 20 degrees off north...
Something to keep in mind.
