It doesn't have to be.
As long as the hunter is not using Thermal Scope in bush - the Thermal handheld will locate - then normal scope for ID.
But a man crouched down roaring or the likes - to a trigger happy type could pose a potential disaster.
There will be an accident with this Thermal imaging gear one day – that I am sure about.
However – there is a flip side to it – and it could also (one will never know) prevent an accidental shooting. By seeing someone at distance – when you could be the potential target – so then you avoid getting into that risk position etc
She’s amazing gear though – out the other morning (5am) – could see Deer 300-400m in light scrub/regrowth and when hit with the light – could not see an eyeball shinning back at all.
