Thread: bipods

ok so theres a shitload of brands out there now, just how do they stack up against the good ol harris. Im looking into buying one for the howa 223 and cant really afford the likes of a harris at the present time. have been told the remington bipods are crap but would like some unbiased comments if that poss. have had a looksee on TM and am no closer to a good decision.
am lookin for something to mount on swivelstud like the harris does.

I have a remington copy of the harris, works ok, not quite as robust but does the job.

Save for the Harris.
Remington ones are crap as, waste of time and dollars all they do is fall apart,
Had about 5 before I finally got as Harris and would never go back.

i have a remington bipod, fitted some spikes and it works good as

anyone had anything to do with the bipods advertised by savebarn on TM or the ones listed by aladdinz? Adjustable Notched Leg Bipod 6 or Rifle Bipod Extendable Swivel Sling Mount | Trade Me they dont look too bad

Nope.
Brought 5 at once from h&f for cheap as.
None lasted more than 6 months.
