For years I have effectively used the old electrolux vacuum cleaner on "reverse thrust" with the hose thrust up into the toe of the gumboots.
Warm and dried in minutes.
You still got one of those that work? Do you want a sprayer attachment for it?
BTW, you can also use a vacuum cleaner head set on suction and stick it into the boot toe space, it also forces air through the boot and does the job but not as quick as hot air.
