Thread: Boots boots boots

Ok so im looking for boots.
Looking at lowa tibets or one of the andrews boot range. But im open to sugestions as well.
I would prefer to buy from a central NI nz shop if possible.
A few nz shops had the tibets cheaper but since been told to fall inline price wise circa $700 or the farming chain saying id have drive 3hours to taihape to try on andrews zebru boots.

So whos good to deal with?

I imagine everyone is diff - but I find these Tibet's fit like a glove have a size boarderig on too small - but with the Tibet's perfect !!
No cramping from firm fit like other brands.

But - to pay 700 pingers - that does scare me a tad

Best for me have been La Sportivas, all depends on what fits your feet though really.

I use Tibets, they're good. Probably only necessary for S.I though. Probably go for Rangers for N.I hunting. I'd also consider Scarpa for my next purchase

Boots are all about fit. There’s no point in recommending a particular brand to any one individual. If they fit they fit. If not forget it. The shop i can wholeheartedly recommend is Simply Living in Newmarket in Auckland. They have a brilliant boot fitting service. But that might be no use to you. Good luck!!

brought Lowa tibets gtx wide from UK saved a heap of $$ and was all of a 2 week wait. well worth it and trust me having wide feet and ledderhose disease makes it tough to find ideal footware
