Boots - Evolve Razorback or GriSport Aoraki

Evolve Razorback ($219) or GriSport Aoraki ($350)....

Pros and Cons anyone??? Apart from price...

Razorback is quite a bit cheaper but not sure of its quality. I hear it dries quite fast if wet.
They both are about the same weight but I need feedback before I make a final choice... Boots will be for deer and upland hunting.....

Let me know of your thoughts....
    Pete

i recently bought grisport hikers. was intending to try the evolves but store people advised against it as they regularly get them returned. I love the grisport, so comfortable out of the box and the ones i got had options for inner soles that came with them.
If i could have a full time job shooting pests i'm up for over time.

Evolve Razorback have a bad rep with soles separating from the boot. I had this problem and had them replaced twice. Having them replaced is alright but having to walk out with a broken boot is frustrating. I gave up on cheap boots after that and brought some Hiax.

atta boy... everyone against it.... so I'll keep away from it...

Smidey, I tried the Hiker... neat boot... very comfortable out of the box and nice to walk with.... The Aoraki was a bit stiffer, but understandable as its a high boot......
I guess Aoraki will do the job...

Cheers for the feedback to all

i only do a small amount of armed tramping in fair weather and rabbit/possum shooting on foot so for that they are spot on i think.

Evolve cheaper I bought a pair to use in nepal on a motorbike trip to cover walking and motorbiking.
Have found hooks bend and waterproofing not flash.
Mind you they did what I wanted and fitted but will spend bit more next time.
