    bringing in tactical tomahawks

    looking at bringing in some SOG tomahawks for practicing throwing etc as the old wooden ones i have are to short and the blades to small etc

    can you bring them in ok ? or would i need an exemption to import ?

    No issues I know of - know of a few SOG axes around - brought some in myself

    I brought them from a supplier i used to deal with - no export dept anymore though

    I dont own them, but not sure mate has tried throwing - it the ones with 300-400mm long handle and axe on front and spike on back

    No issues, mate has one or two. Not very practical apparently but they look pretty mean

    The handles on the cheaper ones look dumb, like the head would break off with too much work.

    Wouldn't mind getting some frontier or norse type tomahawk heads from the states and jyst buy the hickory handles here as I gotta admit the classic tomahawk look is the biz the tactical ones are just the same price tho.

    I thought Tomahawks were missiles fired from ships or submarines that created a whole lot of hurt at the other end??
