Hi has anyone had any experience with these packs? Are they any good?
I like all the features and like the idea of modular pack but just want to know if they're comfy and not going to fall apart straight away.

My experience with bushbuck is buy something else
My 2 cents I have had mixed experience's with this brand and I specifically bought one for the features you mentioned. On its first trip on the way home with my normal kit and a boned-out sika, it decided to fall apart. It was thrown in the back of truck, and after looking at it for a few months I stripped off the useful bits and binned the rest. Good luck finding what you need, others I have spoken to really rate it.
It’s cheap for a reason
Have you had bad experiences with their gear?
Also how about other brands like Spika or Hunters element?
Ill probably use a full tramping pack maybe once a year when I can finally get time off life to do a week long trip. Other than that my stoney creek pack works for day hunts.
Have some of their gear but not a Destroyer pack. Happy enough with gear. It’s no better or worse than Stoney Creek shit which has its fanboys. You take your chances with any of these ‘hunting’ brands.
I have their tent and I think it's good for what I need. Some of their gear seems pretty good.
I've been looking at their packs as they can be picked up for about $370, which I think is a good deal. They seem to design the gear themselves but it's still drop shipping from China.
I think with these brands there are good and bad batches. Some guys like the spika packs, which you can find a review on here where a handle just fell off a rifle bag.
I've had a shit run with huntec and wouldn't go anywhere near them. It comes down to your experience and what batch/item you get.
I'd give the destroyer pack a punt tbh. They seem pretty keen to do a good job.

Nothing worse than having a pack fail on you. I've been there it's a pain in the arse.
By proven gear, bushbucks reputation is way to spotty for me to take the risk on a piece of gear as crucial as a pack
Some of that reputation seems to be coming from 2 sources:
1) stoney creek fanboys that never owned anything else.
2) People that had something "fail" on them years ago and still are pissed off about it.
There is a lot of believing that they are bad around and the fact that they do apparrently not count as a status symbol.
There are bad experiences with bushbuck stuff out there (apparrently their sleeping pads are bad) and I find their marketing super dodgy, and their practice around inflated prices and constant sales is annoying as well.
But what I have noticed with the stuff that I own and regularly use: well designed and not of lesser quality than any of the other "hunting brands"
It would be nice if people with actual experience pointed out what their experience was and when...
They have a showroom in chch, definately worth a visit.
As for the destroyer pack, when looking at it I found look and feel to be less "worthy" than my Tatonka Bison. But many well thought-out features, that other packs lack.
The Bison has many of problems of its own. Its made in Vietnam by the way for those that still do not understand that everything is made in asia nowadays.
I wish they did a bison "harness" with a pack like the destroyer.
Yea just missed out on the black Friday sale. They were down to about $400. Turns out Black Friday lasts for 4 days haha. Thatll teach me for Procrastinating.
My Stoney creek whirinaki pack has been serving me well for the last 6-7 years for day hunts its just a bit small for overnighters. I cant complain about stoney creek
This was posted a while back, if I was you I'd ask in the b/s/t for a cascade or similar.

I have a Bino harness and smallish hydration pack from bushbuck and they both going well .
I have a couple of elastic rifle covers and one of their belt pouches. They get plenty of use and Im pleased with them.
Morning mate.
I've been using the Drover for almost 2 years now on several hunting trips, carrying varying loads and really rate it. Reason I got it was I had the pleasure of using my mates Kuiu pack with the meat shelf and decided to get rid of my current pack at the time and switch out. I wasn't prepared to pay what Kuiu were after (not that I don't think it's worth it, I just couldn't justify spending that at the time) and began some research. I eventually wound up on the drover after talking to my local and going in and trying it out a number of times.
Drover is made of heavier materials than Kuiu but I rate the quality. Bearing in mind I still use a day pack for most of my hunting but anything overnight or longer i'll either take the 40lt or 80lt.
Hope this helps, my 2cents worth and as the old saying goes "Opinions are like ass holes, everyone has one"
An trying out their Destroyer lite frame pack. Too early to say anything about longevity.
Seems well enough made. As well as other brands that are all made in China.
1 thing I will say though about their service though, it's terrible to non-existent.
They only want to do online sales. At their store (which is very close to where I work) its open 10-4 weekdays only and they don't carry stock.
They have few racks of clothing but thats about it. Display stuff only.
Everything comes from a 3rd person warehouse and delivery is 3-4 weeks.
They don't want to do in store sales or even click and collect type sales.
They wouldn't even get what I wanted in to then purchase. If I wanted something, I had to order it online.
Only managed to get what I wanted as I said I'd take the display item as I couldn't be f**ked about with ordering and waiting 4 fecking weeks!
But they didn't make it easy.
Something to consider with anything from them.
