Haven't got one or tried one but noisy sleeping mats was something I was warned about. Went to bivouac and tried out 4 or 5 different ones and most of the ultralight ones were very noisy. Ended up getting an Exped synmat winter.
As above, found the Exped ul7 pretty quiet but no experience with Bushbuck
I have one, it makes a fair racket when you move and its way too narrow for me. Im pretty big though. Its now on kid duty.
I have one of the Naturehike ones that they sold before the current ones. Looks like the exact same thing and can confirm still fairly noisy..
Id avoid Bushbuck, its aliexpress stuff
Buy a Klymit or Exped
I disagree, using a few of their products and don’t have any complaints.
Depends, it'll be fine for on the farm. Depends on the item you're referring to as well. But I wouldn't expect much longevity out of the product, I've seen this first hand
I have a few things from them which have been great - have their sleeping bag, just got the sleeping mat - it is the same shape as their sleeping bag (mummy style) and seems comfortable - could be noisy if you move a lot. I will likely grab their 2 man tent when they are back in stock as well
With all the complaints about noise everyone must be bloody light sleepers. I use a Thermarest XTherm that apparently noisy but I don't find it obnoxiously noisy or even noisy at all. After having one mat with down or synthetic stuffing insulation I wouldn't own another as it shifts and you get bad cold patches after a year or two and if you blow in with your breath the moisture makes it mouldy and perform worse.
I had one and after maybe 5 trips it had 6 holes, tried posting a 1 star review twice and it never showed on there page :wtfsmilie:
I have tried a few bits and peices from bushbuck, would never buy at full price but rifle sling and bush shirt is ok so far. Dry tie socks are a waste of time and shorts are a weird fit (but could just be my ass) biggest complaint is they curate their reviews and only post the positive ones so can’t really trust the website.
Yeah the curated reviews pisses me off... I even emailed through a review and they still never put it up...
Yeeep exactly.
slept on my Bushbuck mat last weekend - warm and comfortable - didnt have any problems, does make a bit of noise if you move on it - I will probably use the pressure release button to go slightly less full next time
Don’t own any of their gear yet, but have been looking at a few different items. Also noticed that the reviews seem to be suspiciously positive & pretty much exclusively 5 star.
Yes it's bullshit, Briscoes permanent sale rubbish. Misleading advertising.
Their down jacket RRP $649.. wtf??? Now for the incredibly low price of $399!!! Laughable
I've got their sleeping mat, rifle cover and bino harness. All are pretty good quality and i'm happy with each item. I don't know where they are made but the quality is better than what you expect from china-made goods (saying that i buy heaps from aliexpress and have been happy with around 90% of it). I certainly wouldn't have a problem purchasing from the again but i do wait for the 'sale' price. It's just like Macpac and Kathmandu - never buy something full price!

I have one like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32980508880.html . It is small, light, and not noisy at all. Had a few comfortable nights sleep in the bush with it. It is thin enough that you can feel large sticks through it though, so prep the sleeping area and should be comfy.
