I hate day/overnight packs that have a narrower opening than the width of the base or lower part of the bag. They are a bugger to get meat into, and out of. Especially if its boned meat in a pillow case or such like. The One planet traverse looks like that. So are a lot of Mac-Packs.

The Huntaway looks good. Have you bought one gimp?

Yes. Looks ok. Its better than my MacPac Weka 40L, which is a pain.

Thanks for taking the trouble of posting a pic.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Have carried one deer out in it, worked fine. Been using it in the bush a little bit, carries 30 leg hold traps alright + gear.

Very well made. I used mine for the last 3 months of 2017 in Laos every day in the jungle for geo work and a couple hunts in 2018. Carries weight well. A bit scratchy crawling through matagouri/scrub. I have had to wash it to go through customs a couple times and the olive colour has leached a little.
Pm if you want a photo.
Definitely recommend it though. Its indestructible.
