    Cactus Miklat mods

Has anyone had some modifications done to their Miklat pack? Really want to have an extra pocket on the back, like the Mollyme pouch or similiar. Just looking for ideas as its a great pack, and need a little more room. Thinking if my jacket could be stored in a pouch externally, I would gain more room internally.

When I had mine I just put a bungy on the front using the tabs from the compression strap buckles. Great for jacket etc once pack full off meat!

Hard to see but I done the same thing mentioned above. Bunny from spotlight. The loop at the end also holds an iceaxe if fed from above down and then flipped up

Sternum strap is a must, I got a small open-topped side pocket and a crampon pad with bungy cord added by Twinneedle.

Gets to be an expensive pack once you pay for modifications though considering the very basic harness. Mine only really gets used for work in the bush now, Stone Glacier is just a much better hunting pack all round

What stone do you run? Love mine thinking of adding another one at some stage

Mint I have the evo 40/56 and it's pretty much perfect for me usually us it with the lid inside making it about 65L but top expands out to 90 if I need it. Have thought about adding another bag as fins the bag pretty full at times when all the kit comes. Plus I've had it 4 years now surely it's time to test something else out. I still have my Cactus but it's really only used by friends who don't have gear.
