True and a fair point so it is easy to ignore the untrustworthy electronics and drill a hasp and staple onto the thing - most people have access to a drill

I'm not swearing by their quality, it's more like saying that if you are on a budget there are cheaper options out there rather than putting your hard-earned towards an overpriced piece of crap from guncity - I've seen gunshops asking $600 plus for safes only slightly larger than these Chinese crappers

Not everyone has the fabrication skills and access to folders and whatnot to make their own

One other thing if anyone is looking for cheap storage - once in a while fireproof filing cabinets come up on Tardme and they make excellent ammo storage - I got a 3-drawer Chubb one for 40 bucks out of a corporate furniture disposal place and I recommend those suckers but be warned, they are over 150 kilos to move
