Same as most, heres mine, Vargo Titanium Ti-Lite Mug, 750 ml...just for a quick cuppa in the bush, everything fits inside, bought from 'Top Gear'....burner is a cheapie from Kathmandu...never failed yet (2 years)

While I might not be as good as I once was, Im as good once as I ever was!

Mine is also titanium and has the same type of handles. They do get warm but even with boiling water you can still hold it with your bare hands easily without getting burnt.

Yeah same here, I was very surprised that i was easily able to hold the handles, even after boiling 500ml of water, no drama.

my pot and cooker isn't much more compact than the jetboil as all the stuff goes inside both the pots, so to me, since the weight is practically the same, I choose fast boil time. because, it means im out the door quicker in the morning than the rest of the lazy hunters!

    Right i have purchased.

    Pot:
TOAKS 3in1Titanium folding cup ultralight Titanium tableware Titanium pot portable Titanium bowl camping cup Titanium 750ml 110g-in Outdoor Tablewares from Sports & Entertainment on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

    Cooker:
Wholesale Product Snapshot Product name is New Arrival Fire Maple Ultralight Outdoor Gas Stove Ultralight 45g Titanium Camping Stove Gas Stove Burners FMS-116T

    And another plastic spork.

Should be all up weight of about <170grams and all up cost of $88NZD landed

I went for that cooker based on youtube reviews. The 25 gram was a bit cheaper but just didnt look as well finished and didnt have a big enough spread so would have been unstable.

I decided on the pot size due to it being just the right diameter to fit a small gas cylinder

7gm cooker, plus cup, wire frame and wind shield. 3.5minutes to boil 350ml of water with 20ml of meths. Swing by if you want to see a demo(at a new house though).
@Matt2308 and I have cooked multiple Freeze-Dri meals on this. I have since purchased a 800ml Jetboil from the Gearshop for $112 delivered. This was due to wanting some extra volume.

Me too but my burner eats through gas esp in wind.

Yes, hence the wind shield. But, if the unltimate in lightweight and cheap, they are great. Again, I did end up with a jetboil though for a more reliable solution.

Meths is good for day(half day) trips when a coffee is called for at short notice after the deer is on the deck.

I thought i was clever putting a windshield around my little gas burner in fiordland on the 2nd day.... must of got bloody hot in there cause the little rubber O-ring that seals up against the gas canister vaporized and gas went everywhere. Lucky munsey had a spare.

I also considered the same jetboil as you got but decided against for no particular reason

Upland Stalker after the crap about TI handels getting hot can I ask how hot your handel gets on that system?
reason i ask is logically it would get hotter than they typical fold out type.

If the soot on the handle isn't enough of a clue, I can confirm it gets very very hot VC!
