That's interesting. I'm on my 4th pair of lowa rangers,never had any blister issues with the first 3 pairs but this last pair has been giving me a lot. I've been taping up and double sock before a big climb and still getting hot spots. I'm sure they've changed something or I'm just getting soft.

I had the same with the lowa ranger had 4 sets and the last ones just tore my feet up got an old one i use doing the lawns and they are mint
