    Data transfers between iphones?

Hope this is the right section?
    Got new iphone yesterday,
    I'm a VERY untech guy
Only got a new one as it just turned up.
How do I get contacts and photos from one two the other?
I've spent most of the day trying.
Done the iTunes thing but buggered if can figure it out.
    Any help appreciated

According to my 15 year old daughter, you should synch your old phone to your computer and then synch your new one to it. To easy mate! Ha ha ha ha
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Plug your old iPhone into your computer and open iTunes. Your iPhone will appear in iTunes and if you are running the most recent version of iTunes there will be a button around mid screen that says "Back up iPhone" or something, hit that and wait for the back up to complete (status bar along the top of the iTunes window will show this).

Once that's done, plug the new one and you will be prompted to "restore from previous backup" or something, hit that button and follow the prompts. That should be it, that will bring everything that can't be synced through iTunes, so basically everything bar music. You will need to re enter passwords for banking apps, maybe social ones and usually email ones too.

Feel free to PM me if you need any more help.

Unless you really know what you are doing, avoid the sync button, it'll likely go wrong.

    Thanks
I have done this numerous times
I have transferred apps but nothing else. Followed a you tube clip by the letter still only moved apps.
Maybe throw computer out window and stomp phone will help?

if you have icloud setup and turned on, on the existing phone, you should be able to set it up on the new phone and the contacts will copy on to the new phone.
