    Day Pack/Possum Shooting bag/pack recommendations

Needing something to carry round some snacks, water, spare ammo, etc. when out getting some tree rats. But something which is I can take out on a day hike
Have been looking at Stoney Creek, Spika, Twin Needles. What's other people using? Any good bags out there?
    Cheers

I like a molle-style belt with customisable pouches. No sweaty back for me! You can go down the Twin Needle route and spend a lot of money for a high quality product, or take a chance with cheaper gear. I went down the latter route. Belt from AliExpress and pouches from a military surplus shop. Been using it for years and after a few changes over time, it's perfect for my needs. Being in the north helps as we don't have to carry too much cold weather clothing most of the time.

Looks like Cactus has a sale on this weekend, so might pull the trigger on one of those. Have some of their shopping bags and they’re well built.
But I do like the sound of a belt, hadn’t thought about that. Might be a little Xmas present to myself.

    Thanks all

go to the warehouse and buy a schoolbag..... possum shooting/plucking you dont want your good polarfleece stalking pack. a jute sugarbag with cotton reel in each corner and a bit of strapping about 5 feet long and you have a pikau....of go all flash and sew up a big polarfleece one twice as long and half as wide again as a pillowcase, tennis ball in each corner and seatbelt webbing in same manner and yo uhave a good pikau that will hold front half of a big red deer boned out....weighs next to nothing, can chuck in washing machine and will last for years.

How has it been so far?

I'm looking at getting one but am a bit wary of the quality of Bushbuck products.

Am very happy with it, so happy that we bought a second one. Use them regularly.

I use the Tatonka day bag, think it's called the Stealth, in camo. Can't fault it. Had a very heavy meat load in and on it last week.
