    Day packs

Looking at getting a decent sized day pack for hunting and considering these options:

    Bushbuck slayer 36 pack - 36L
    Kuiu Venture 2300 - 37L
    Vanguard Pioneer 2100RT - 34L

Anyone have any experience with any of these packs or recommend something else?

Plus 1 for the cactus gear. Solid canvas construction can be a bit noisy in the bush but put a fleece top on the outside and you will be good to go for bush hunting.
    I have the huntaway.
Not cheap but buy once cry once. And nz made

Have the Kuiu, like it. A few too many bells and whistles (zips, pockets etc) but very comfortable pack to carry and use.

Am interested to hear about the bushbuck slayer myself and how well it goes with the bino pouch (already have). It looks pretty good but things can often be quite different when seen in the flesh as we all know

I'm in the same boat as my old 40L macpac pursuit is about stuffed.

Personally I'm leaning towards the Bushbuck slayer so also keen to hear others experiences.

Its a bit pricey, also a shame not to be able to check one out in a store before buying !!

I use a Markhor 35 liter which l like. May be a bit full of Bling for Some.
works for me for day and overnight Trips.
Another popular local offering is the Twinn Needle range. Probable a bit more Robust and with Less bling.
The Markhor is held off your back for better air circulation.

Old military division kifaru packs (2001-early 2010's) were some of the best packs around.

Their internal framed ones like the Pointman (zip top) and Zulu (no zips) were designed well but perhaps a little overbuilt (1000D cordura, double bottomed, double stitched).

If I didn't already have one I would rip your arm off for it!

    G1 or G2?

If you stick it on eBay you might get a nice surprise.
