Thread: Difficulty importing GPS map file from GPS file depot into my Garmin

Hi all

My gps was playing up (not showing topography all of a sudden) so i updated the software I have downloaded a gps file off of gps file depot. I followed the instructions and downloaded every program needed however I get a pop up saying family ID in use. I have done a google but that has had limited success.

Did you guys shell out 230 bucks for a garmin map or do you guys have better ways to get topo maps into your gps?

Any help would be appreciated
