Anybody have one they would like to sell? I would like one for remote use. Petrol or 240V but would prefer petrol.
cheers

Hi Rushy, appreciate your concern I have used one that now after yrs of service needs replacing.
Last time I used it, oil started spitting out everywhere. I think it's given up the ghost and filters are too hard to get for it anyway.

My one is stuffed as well. 1000psi is as high as it will compress... But got my $200 worth out of it before it crapped out. Can still run the kids paintball guns off it though, thats something.
Long as you don't suck the oil!
Boom, cough,cough,cough
R93, You may find it just needs compression rings in the last stage. Unfortunatly my 1960`s English compressor dosn`t have compression rings so unless I can find someone prepared do fit a set and grove the piston its pretty well over for it.
Try an outfit called Ash Air I think they have a branch in Nelson.
You can re fit any of the new filter assembly's if that is the only thing wrong if you feel comfortable doing it.like any thing with high pressure lines and swagelok it will cost $$. if you are going to buy a new one stick with the Bauer compressors, I have had a good run out of mine.most others like coltri and a few others in the 3 -5cfm dont seem to last.there are many compressor gurus on the deco stop if you need more info.
Cheers mate, I was told keep an eye out for a good bauer compressor.

Just curious, since you fill your own bottles do you ever bother getting them tested?
My mate is looking to sell his Bauer compressor but it's three phase and is way up here in the far north.
