    Dry arse water resistant trousers

Any suggestions what's good for rainy or snow conditions but breathable?

I tried a pair of the h&f dry arse fleece pants. The special fabric is on the inside, so your arse is soaked from perspiration anyway.... I wouldn't wear them in the nasty stuff that's for sure. I like my long johns with cactus canvas shorts when moving in the cold n wet stuff.

I grabbed a pair of the Stoney creek Quad pants when they were on special recently. They are bloody bullet proof as well as wind proof. Downside is that they are too warm if walking any distance.

I bought a pair of those, found out why they were specialed, like living in a sauna from the waist down, holy shit my legs a really thin now!. But excellent for standing round at the range or on one of Gillies shooting courses, or if your in a hillbilly frame of mind.
