    Eberlestock Elk Pack

Looking at upgrading my old Badlands HyperVent daypack. It's a great pack, carries plenty of weight well and has held up great. Only thing is I don't think the space is utilitised that efficiently with the bladder compartment and cuts into the useful space in the main compartment. So I'm looking at something a bit more practical that can get a bit more gear in when needed. Will be for open country. Looked at the Badlands 2200 and Vorn 42L Deer pack and they look pretty good. Have now seen the Eberlestock Team Elk day/multi day pack. Looks pretty robust and like the look of the features. I've never used a rifle scabbard so not sure how user friendly they are. Has anyone got/had one with any feedback? I see they have a sale on too which makes it tempting. TIA.
