Thread: Electric chainsaw sharpener

Hi all I'm after some advice on electric chainsaw sharpeners.
I have a chainsaw mill with a 42" bar, this takes quite awhile to sharpen by hand and I would like to speed this up.
Having a quick look around there seems to be huge range in models and price.
Also wondering if there is any advantage of the bar mounted ones versus the bench mounted ones.
Obvious advantage of the bar mounted one being you could leave the chain on the bar, are they more finicky to use since the clamping position could change each time it's used?
They seem to range in price from about $40 up to $800, was thinking of the $100-$200 price range.
Who's had experience with what brands and what did you think?
