I need to get a replacement hammer spring for my Marlin Camp 45, and the only place that has them is Numrich Gun Parts in the USA, and they wont post to NZ. Does anyone have a contact in the USA that would be willing to post one over?

Why import one? It is just a common coil spring that any gunsmith could sort out quickly.
Will be in Hawaii from 11-17 Feb can bring it back if you want.
Has anybody figured away around this new thing where they won't post gun parts, I used to get lots of little bits in like springs or ring or replacment parts, but have been unable to since they changed the law, any body figured out a work around without getting the export permit thing done?
Good suggestion, but unfortunately real gunsmiths are thin on the ground these days. Most guys calling themselves as such just fit suppressors or a barrel at the most, not interested at all in this sort of thing.Quote:
