Fenix 6x Pro Solar and custom maps

Anyone else with a 6x Pro?

Using topomap.co.nz I can save a .kmz file and then put this on the watch via Basecamp.

However, I can't load more than 1 map file because it seems the 6x is limited to 100 jpg's. Each .kmz file contains over 50 jpg's so I get an error trying to put the 2nd map onto the watch.

The Fenix 5x has a 500 jpg capacity @R93 and can hold a lot more maps.

I still haven't sussed it but not worried.
I only have 1.2 megs of storage left on the watch it says, but haven't looked at what is clogged the storage yet. Might be porn from last owner

Solved. Seems to be an issue with Basecamp. Works fine if you copy the .kmz map file directly into the custommaps folder via file explorer.

Did you pick it up? I bumped the price up a little- so sorry about that
Be keen to hear how you like it as I need one and wondering re this model or the 5x as I’m no mountain man/ gorilla in the mist type.

Nah some rooster named Paulo from Wlg made me pay more...watch is as new and I am fussy but happy as still a lot cheaper than a new price i could find.

The 5x is just as good. TBH the 6x Pro is pretty much the same with some improvements and if you love gadgets gives a few more things...if it is purely as a tool the 5x does the same job for hunting.

I have a whisky collection as big as my backyard.

Not really. My backyard is huge.
