Thread: FIORDLAND BOOT ADVICE

Hunting from a chartered launch end if march for 6 days out of preservation inlet.
Any advice for footware would be appreciated? I have no idea what to expect from the bush around there.

Webbed feet & crampons?! Just pulling ya tit.

Bullers, Ashley's or something similar.
If you are hunting from the boat it won't be hard hunting (if you are used to big days).
If you chopper up to the tops you might need better boots.
I didn't hunt very hard when I was there. Wouldnt have been able to use the meat so didn't see much point in shooting one.
Had a awesome trip though.

I used Lowa Tibet Pros, they were great. Take some full length gaitors and some plastic slip ons

No master what you will get your feet wet.
Take a couple of gore tex socks if you can and if you can walk in them.
