The recent M24 Sniper produced 220,000 lux for a max range of 900 meters or so. This new 2X produces more than that on its medium mode - 260,000 for 1000+ meters - and on high it produces 365,000 lux for over 1200 meters.

If you have the smaller M24 Sniper hold onto it. The higher spec board and led in this new 2X also fit straight into the M24 as an upgrade, lifting it from 220k lux to round 290,000 lux. I have both lights and they are awesome for hunting. New 2X is very light, still great for scanning paddocks quick, but with extremely powerful centre hotspot for throw.

Yup I have a one. How do I upgrade it. Is it just a drop in?

Unscrew the rear flange, unscrew the reflector/lens/bezel, unsolder the wires from the LED carrier board and solder in the new board, ...

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

Probably quicker to do it than it was for me to type it. First step being to obtain new board of course.
