    This Convoy C8, is it a general walking around torch? I left my maxtoch with my father while im not in NZ, he likes it but says its to bright. Was thinking of getting him one.
    Also are these batt's all good for either the C8 or Maxtoch? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-N...anasonic+18650

    My Convoy C8, mount, charger and batteries arrived the other day. Super stoked! One small problem though, the light only comes on when slightly unscrewing the barrel from the head (about a 3/4 turn back from tight) and it only turns on periodically I suspect I have a dud and have contacted the supplier. Has anyone experienced this and been able to resolve it themselves?

    Righto, after the delay of chinese new year, I got a reply from Convoy, after i sent them a video. The middle tube section was shipped the wrong way round! I corrected it and now it works great. Who would have thought......

    Been there, done that.....inadvertently switched the tube around! Quick fix for gadgetman - thank you.
