Mean. Great points here about the models, it is a bit hard to follow. I went the Max Pump 2 Pro as I needed a new tent light and liked the idea of a back up battery bank after my Nitecore battery bank bled out from full charge on day one of a five day trip - apparently a design fault (buttons get hit in the bag and game over) corrected in version 3. The pump is super nice to have after a big hike, but down the list for me. The valve options on the Max Pump 2 Pro are rigid plastic, and you do have to hold them firmly on your pad while inflating to ensure they don't fall off. The 3 when it comes will probably address this. Nice piece of luxury kit! For the record I've used the Flextail bags to vacuum seal clothing and sleeping gear in a drum. These have worked a treat.
