Thread: FLIR Scout TK for possums?

Hi-ho..

Curiosity question really:

Is anyone using FLIR Scout TK for finding tree-bears? Anyone able to share a picture off a TK or one of the other entry level FLIRs?

Context:

In rural Canty, shooting on my property and neighbours. Occasionally I can hear the buggers coughing and hacking away in a clump of trees but no matter how much I shine the spot at the trees I can't find em.

I'm thinking within 30-50m. I just want to find em, I'm not interested in using NV/FLIR to aim or take hero-shots in the dark!

I'm not very serious about it, it's more of an excuse for exercise but sometimes it's just damned annoying hearing them but not seeing em.
