    Foo foo Valve trouble

Heading off tomorrow for 5 days in the upper greenstone..stoked, good dates and decent forecast

Problem is I just weighed my pack....21.1kg

Might have to do some more investigation into light weight gear when I get back

Taking a couple of luxury items, decent camera , new Rhino 650 weighs a bit as well so theres 1kg, otherwise just standard stuff, mind you I am packing in a Minaret and Fly, my mate has a microlight and no friggin room in those, may have to slip the 1kg fly for him to carry.

Anyway after a shit time not even seeing a deer in the Haast hoping I can put up a decent report when out, hoping to shoot a cham and will pull the trigger if I find a buck bigger than the 1 I already have so 200 douglas score

    Cheers

Hunting is relaxing just like Yoga except I get to kill something.

    Hi Bob

We have upper greenstone. Coming out Saturday or Sunday, if Sunday we will probably stay at the McKellar hut on way to divide shelter.

Cheers and good luck to you

    cheers

Mate did the greenstone caples about 6 weeks ago and said they saw heaps of deer on the flats that were so used to seeing trampers they just stood there and watched them walk past at a distance of about 200m

How much does your pack weigh without food?
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.

all the best, take one of these with you in case your ring gear turns itself inside out from the heavy carry.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
