    Almost all air fryers will dehydrate too.

    I made a few meals of pad thai that I dehydrated, 1200 calories each, tastier than backcountry. Weighed about 300 odd grams dry, chucked it into 500ml boiling water and off I went.

    Is this just running them on a low heat setting with fan forced air??? Sounds interesting.

    One of the things with commercial dehy, is that it often has bulk preservatives etc to ensure it keeps and retards mould etc. Some of that stuff is not ideal for people that are sensitive.
