Interested in hearing from anyone that has or uses a Etrex h,I have two showing the incorrect date 30th may 99, that's the yellow one
Have tried a hard reset but didn't work rang Garmin and they have put an alert into their system to get their tech boys to look at fixing the problem
So if yours is showing the same let me know please and also ring Garmin on 0800427652 and get your name into the system the more complaints the better

turn it on inside where it cant get satalite picture...after a while it will ask if you indoors...then will ask if you have moved a long way from last position and may ask date...tell it its not that date and it should recheck with satalites. and magically come good again.
just checked and date/time correct on my unit....I think the above is what we did,I remember we answered a question in way that was wrong/counterintuative and it made unit wake up and regig itself.
