Hey guys,
I recently brought a Garmin GPS model 60 (not 60csx, just plain 60) second hand, and just wondered if anyone else had much experience with this model.
Is it possible to put topographical maps on to it? It doesn't have an micro SD card slot unfortunately - so I am thinking that it may not be possible.

I think that’s the model I once had, it has an internal memory which wasn’t big but I managed to download most of NZ onto mine.
I since sold it and use a Rhino as my mates have them aswell and they use an SD card which is what most models use now.
If you want, send the GPS to me and I’ll upload a topo map to it for you.
Yes I had wondered that, unfortunately it was an impulse yellow site buy when I spotted it a couple of minutes before the auction went - so hadn't looked up the model yet. That would be much appreciated! I will PM you. Cheers

I have the free open source topomaps, they are pretty good.
