Thread: Garmin GPS 62S map ?

I finally made the the plunge into buying a better GPS than my faithful basic etrex combined with paper map and compass.
Being the tight bastard I have had a new one in my hand so many times and put it back on shelf .

So I got what I throught was a bargain on Tard Me .
GPS 62s with Topo map . (second hand
Cut a long story short ,paid for it using Kiwi credit card sent to my NZ address.
Trade me suspended my account due to using account from overseas?

There was no card in GPS so no topo map,can,t contact seller or leave feed back.

My fault should have got a new one or just used old faithful till it died and I can use a map pretty well .

Anyway I have got the bloody thing now .

looking at maps and they are ranging from $199 to $299 ?

what do I need , which topo is everyone using.
